Connect Claude.ai to MailMCP
Claude.ai supports custom MCP connectors on every plan: the free plan allows one custom connector, paid plans several. No Client ID or Secret to type: Claude registers itself through OAuth.
Open Customize, then Connectors
In Claude.ai, click Customize in the left sidebar, then the Connectors tab. Connectors are no longer under Settings.
Add a custom connector
Click "+ Add" then "Add custom connector". Name it MailMCP, paste your server URL https://mailmcp.io/mcp/YOUR_CLIENT_ID and click Continue.
Keep the detected options and add
Claude detects OAuth and automatic registration on its own. Change nothing and click Add, then Connect.
Authorise on MailMCP
On the MailMCP page, check the mailbox and click Authorize. Back in Claude, the connector lists its tools; answer "Always allow" the first time a tool is used if you do not want to be asked each time.
