Native connectors only work with Gmail and work or school Microsoft accounts. If your email is on OVH, Infomaniak, LWS, Yahoo, iCloud, Fastmail, Free, Orange or a personal Outlook.com — you are out.
Native connectors now send, with conditions: approval for each email by default, an admin switch on Microsoft 365, no ChatGPT sending in Europe or the UK, and never an attachment or a scheduled send. MailMCP sends directly over SMTP, with files, now or later.
A Claude.ai-only connector dies the day you try it from ChatGPT, Cursor or n8n. MailMCP works with any MCP-compatible AI — same setup, every tool.
